ROCHESTER, NY (WROC) - A massive storm system on the way for Halloween may disrupt those costume plans across New York and the Northeast.

This will not be the first time a storm has rolled through. Back in 2019, Rochester had the wettest Halloween on record with over an inch of rain. In 2023, the low was 32 degrees and we got two tenths of an inch of snow.

You may be wishing we had a repeat of last year (2024) when we hit 78 degrees, just two degrees shy of the record.

Unfortunately, we are dealt a raw deal with wind, rain, and cold air. Expect temperatures to hover in the 40s throughout the day with wind gusts 20-30 mph.
