Students transitioning out of Evergreen Public Schools’ special education program into adulthood are gaining job skills by baking and selling handmade pet treats.

Kreature Kreations is a student-led business at Archway Academy , a program for students ages 18 to 22 with individualized education programs. Students in Kreature Kreations bake pet treats from scratch and are involved with the business side of the operation, said Nora Giscombe, the teacher who oversees the program.
