GLENDALE, AZ (AZFamily) — A crash caused nails to be spilled on a West Valley freeway early Tuesday morning, closing the road down until they can be cleaned up.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. on northbound Loop 101 Agua Fria freeway near Cardinals Way in Glendale.

No one one injured in the crash, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS), but nails are spilled on the road. The northbound lanes will be closed as crews clean up the nails and debris.

Northbound Loop 101 is closed at Cardinals Way, with traffic exiting and reentering the freeway at that point. A traffic backup is expected in the area.
