VESTAVIA HILLS, Ala. (WIAT) -- A woman and her unborn child were both killed in an interstate crash over the weekend.

Cambraya Sharondae Broach, 23, was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed on I-459 S near Acton Road in Vestavia Hills. Broach was taken to UAB Hospital where she and her unborn child were both pronounced dead, according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.

The crash happened around 3:26 a.m. on October 25.

State troopers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash at this time.
