Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 113 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on October 27, 2025 to 5:00 am on October 28, 2025.

Shoplifting

On October 27 th at 4:02pm, Belleville Police responded to a business in the city’s east end regarding a report of shoplifting. It was reported that a female had left the store with a cart full of groceries without paying.

Upon arrival, officers located the female outside the business and observed her with the cart of groceries. Officers reviewed video footage and observed that the woman was seen in the store alone and exited through the entrance without making payment.

As a result of investigation, 42-year-old Belleville woman, was arrested and charged with:
