DALLAS — American Airlines' new luxury offering from DFW Airport has taken flight.

The Fort Worth-based airline this week started its daily direct service on the new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner to Brisbane, Australia; Buenos Aires, Argentina; and London.

The 787-9 "P," a Boeing Dreamliner equipped with more premium seats than any other in the airline's fleet: 51 so-called "Flagship Suites" and 32 premium economy seats.
