OMAHA, Neb. —

A jury trial date has been set for an Omaha man accused of sexual assault of a child and child abuse .

Warren Arledge is charged with four counts of sexual assault of a child and two counts of child abuse. His trial is scheduled to start in January 2026.

According to court documents, a judge also removed Arledge from supervision ahead of the trial.

Douglas County deputies arrested Arledge in January following tips from community members and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services.

Court documents detail Arledge "grooming" several children ages 12 and 13. It is unclear how Arledge became connected to the children.
