STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Senior Anna Giuffre tallied twice and St. Joseph by-the-Sea tightened the clamps defensively en route to a 4-0 CHSAA Archdiocesan Tier 1 semifinal triumph over visiting Maria Regina on Monday.

The Vikings, who also received goals from Serena Salerno and Frankie Lauro, improved to 13-1 overall. Head coach Tara Ferraiuolo’s troops advanced to the Tier 1 championship for the third consecutive season and will once again meet Notre Dame Academy for all the marbles.
