KAILUA (HawaiiNewsNow) - At 12:30 a.m. Tuesday morning, Honolulu Emergency Services responded to a report of a 31-year-old man who had crashed while riding his moped.

The crash happened at Keolu Drive in Kailua.

The man, who was not wearing a helmet, was critically injured.

EMS said he received life-saving medical treatment and was transported to an emergency room.

The cause of the crash is being investigated.
