EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - Evansville Police Department officials say a man is in jail after causing the death of someone in a vehicle vs. moped accident.
According to an affidavit, officers were dispatched to North Weinbach and Keck Avenue for an accident with injuries.
When officers arrived on scene, they saw the victim, later identified as Roosevelt McNeil, lying in the street.
A witness told police she was facing eastbound on Keck Avenue when the crash occurred.
She told police the driver of a truck, later identified as Dustin Roxbury, was traveling north on Weinbach Avenue and hit McNeil, who was driving a moped.
The affidavit states that when the two vehicles collided, McNeil ended being over by the truck.
