A Dutchess County man has been accused of sexually abusing a child under 13 over the course of a year.
On Oct. 27, Dutchess County District Attorney Anthony Parisi announced John Espinosa, 62, of Poughkeepsie, was indicted on one count of predatory sexual assault against a child, one count of first-degree course of sexual conduct against a child, two counts of second-degree attempted rape, all of which are felonies, as well as two counts of third-degree sexual abuse and one count of endangering the welfare of a child, both misdemeanors.
The alleged abuse took place from Jan. 20, 2022 to Jan. 19, 2023.
