PINE BELT, Miss. (WDAM) - Tylar Jarod Goodloe, the man accused of shooting and killing two people at Heidelberg High School’s homecoming on Friday, Oct. 10, has been released into federal custody.

Goodloe was originally listed in the Jasper County online jail roster, but is now booked in the Forrest County Jail roster. He did not make bond.

According to Jasper County Sheriff Randy Johnson, the United States Marshal’s Service took him into custody for taking a weapon on school property. This can also be considered a state offense, but federal laws are much stricter.

Johnson also reported that “there is a possibility that more of the suspects will be released into federal custody.”
