SOUTHINGTON, Conn. (WTNH) — A Massachusetts man was arrested Friday in Southington after allegedly driving a stolen vehicle and providing officers false information, police said.
Stephen Oldham, 41, of Middleboro, Massachusetts, was arrested after allegedly driving a stolen Mercedes Sprinter van. Officers located the van traveling south on North Main Street before pulling into the parking lot of Stop & Shop.
Upon exiting the vehicle, officers made contact with Oldham, who allegedly provided police with a false name and date of birth. Further investigation revealed that Oldham had three active arrest warrants from other agencies in Connecticut, three active PRAWN warrants in the state of Connecticut along with seven non-extraditable arrest warrants in the state of Massachusetts.
