LONGMEADOW, Mass. (WWLP) - The Distractology Van visited Longmeadow High School today, offering students a hands-on experience to understand the risks of driving under the influence of cannabis.

The event featured driving simulators and vision-warping goggles to simulate the effects of driving while impaired by THC, aiming to educate students about the dangers of driving high.

"If teenagers get a sense of what it really feels like to drive under the influence of cannabis, would it improve their perception about the risk associated with driving when impaired?" said Anuj Pradhan, an assistant professor at UMass Amherst who was running the experiment.
