Children’s clothing retailer Carter’s has announced plans to close 150 stores nationwide as a result of increased costs linked to President Donald Trump’s tariffs .
The company, known for brands such as OshKosh B’Gosh, Little Planet, and Skip Hop, made this announcement on Monday, Oct. 27.
“The Administration has implemented significant new tariffs on products imported into the United States from a wide range of countries. These additional tariffs have begun to add substantially to the approximately $110 million in duties on imported product paid by the Company in fiscal 2024,” the company said in a news release .
