A cargo ship, MV Magnet Team, was arrested at Paradip Port in Jagatsinghpur district of Odisha late last night. The vessel, docked at the MPB berth, had arrived from Russia carrying a consignment of coking coal, official sources said on Tuesday.

The arrest was executed under the orders of the Orissa High Court and was carried out by an independent marshal. The operation was conducted in the presence of port officials, local police, and Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) personnel, who oversaw implementation of the arrest warrant onboard the ship.
