Certain supplements can interfere with bleeding, anesthesia, or healing before and after a surgery. Most healthcare providers recommend stopping all supplements (including vitamins, herbs, and homeopathic remedies) at least 10–14 days before your procedure.

Many multivitamins and herbal supplements can act as blood thinners or interfere with the body's natural blood clotting process. When used alongside anticoagulants, they can affect the body's blood clotting ability during surgery.

Aloe

Garlic

Ginger

Ginkgo biloba

Ginseng

Glucosamine

Guarana

Vitamin E
