AUBURN — Hugh Freeze was rallying troops Tuesday morning, ahead of Auburn football 's practice Oct. 28.
The message was simple: Go a little bit further, and don't let anyone give less.
It's clear that Freeze and the Tigers are taking it one week at a time. They secured their first SEC win last weekend, beating Arkansas 33-24 . It snapped a four-game losing streak, and with Freeze's job in question, Auburn has a decent chance to win back to back games when it faces Kentucky on Saturday, Nov. 1.
There's also a good chance Auburn has a new starting quarterback for the first time this season. Freeze benched Jackson Arnold for Ashton Daniels midways through the Arkansas victory, and he said Monday, Oct. 27, that the two will take part in an "open competition" to determine QB1
