BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - A man is facing charges in connection with a shooting that left two people injured at the Red Roof Inn.
According to the Baton Rouge Police Department, Marquis Tyrell Gross, 23, was arrested on Monday, Oct. 28, on four counts of attempted first-degree murder, as well as one count each of aggravated criminal damage to property, simple burglary-vehicle, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The shooting happened on Sunday, Sept. 21, in the hotel’s parking lot on Boardwalk Drive.

According to the arrest warrant, the suspect was allegedly smoking drugs out of a glass pipe with a woman in the parking lot of a closed-down business next to the Red Roof
