Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin has called on the Centre to ensure timely fertiliser supplies as the state experiences a heightened demand driven by encouraging crop cultivation activities. The Chief Minister outlined the pressing requirement for urea, DAP, MOP, and NPK complex fertilisers to sustain increased productivity.

In his letter to Union Chemicals and Fertilisers Minister J P Nadda, Stalin detailed the state's current fertiliser allocation, highlighting the gap between the allocation and the increased demand projected for the coming months. The Chief Minister expressed gratitude for the past support provided during the Kharif season.
