Trader Joe's has stores in 42 states – but, so far, none in South Dakota.

That hasn't stopped residents from asking, though. A survey by MarketBeat , a financial media company, shows the grocery store chain is the brand South Dakota residents would most like to see open in their state.

The results of the survey, based on responses from more than 3,000 people across the country, show that Bojangles, a fried chicken restaurant, and Whole Foods Market, a grocery store chain, came in second and third, respectively, among South Dakota residents.
