BLAIR, Neb. (WOWT) - The man accused of murdering a Nebraska priest has plead guilty to four counts on Tuesday.
Kierre Williams pleaded guilty to the counts of first-degree murder, use of a deadly weapon to commit a felony, burglary, and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person on Tuesday.
Williams’ sentencing is scheduled for November 12. Williams faces up to life in prison.
In December of 2024, he filed a notice he intends to argue he is not responsible for the killing by reason of insanity .
In February 2024 , Williams entered a plea of “not guilty” in the stabbing death of a Gutsgell in a Fort Calhoun church rectory .
