A local broadcasting company is adding another channel to its lineup in a multi-million dollar move.

Circle City Broadcasting, the parent company of local broadcast stations WISH-TV and MyINDY-TV 23, announced Oct. 28 it will add WRTV-ABC to its roster. The company has entered an $83 million deal to acquire WRTV from the E.W. Scripps Company, pending approval from the Federal Communications Commission, according to WISH.

Circle City Broadcasting currently owns local CW affiliate WISH, MyNetwork TV affiliate MyINDY-TV 23 and digital marketing company Circulus Digital Media. President and CEO DuJuan McCoy noted that Circle City will score high-profile ABC broadcasts from the NBA, the WNBA, college football and more with the acquisition.
