A surveillance camera captured a girl rush back into a Union City home Friday morning as a group of armed suspects chased after her in what police are calling an attempted home invasion robbery.
The tense moments played out at about 7:45 a.m. Friday along the 30900 block of Tidewater Drive, police said.
The surveillance camera footage showed the girl slowly walking down a driveway before she notices a group of four suspects hop out of a car across the street. The girl then darts back inside the home as the suspects run toward the residence.
Police said the girl made it safely inside and told her family to call the police. The suspects approached the front door, but they immediately took off after being confronted by the residents.
