BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The Bedford Police Department is in search of a man who escaped ICE. custody on the evening of Monday, October 27, 2025.

Officers are in search of 22-year-old Kelvin Josue Reyes Bonilla.

Police say he escaped ICE custody near Walmart in the town of Bedford; Bonilla was last reported seen on the railroad tracks near Bedford Weaving.

Bonilla is described as being a Hispanic man, he’s 5′8″, weighing 165 pounds.

He was last reported seen wearing a red shirt, camouflage cloth gym shorts, black socks with inmate slides, handcuffs and a belly chain, according to police.

Bonilla was convicted of misdemeanor of assault and battery in Campbell County, according to Bedford PD.
