SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) — The City of Savannah is hosting an open house event where the community can attend and offer input on a project.
The Vision Zero Program was awarded a $9.9 million Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to improve road safety at intersections along 37th Street between Bee Road and Ogeechee Road.
The 37th Street Corridor Traffic Safety Project will focus on upgrading traffic signals, dedicated left turns, improving sidewalks and crosswalks and extending bike lanes.
Community members are invited to attend the open house event and share their input on this project on Monday, Nov. 3, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Bull Street Library, located at 2002 Bull St. The day of the meeting, the city will launch a survey t
