RICHMOND HILL, Ga. (WSAV) — A man who shot at a McDonald's Drive-thru in Richmond Hill has been placed into custody.

The incident occurred on Oct. 22 at approximately 11:01 p.m. when the Richmond Hill Police Department (RHPD) was dispatched to a T/A truck stop after receiving reports of a shooting.

After conducting an investigation, officials found that the shooting had occurred at a McDonald's Drive-thru located across the street from the truck stop.

On Wednesday morning, RHPD announced that the suspect had been detained and placed into custody. Officials have not released the identity of the aggravated assault suspect or whether they have been charged.
