LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Louisville Metro Police is asking for help in finding a man who they have identified as a "person of interest" in connection to a shooting that happened in October.

Police said officers were called to the area of 25th and West Chestnut Streets on a report of a shooting around 9:45 p.m. on Oct. 21.

When they arrived, LMPD said they found a 31-year-old man who had been shot in the thigh. First responders took him to the hospital where he was expected to survive.

In an update, police said they found the shooting actually happened at 26th and Chestnut Streets near a liquor store.
