Last Saturday night, the Royal Canadian Legion in Smooth Rock Falls came alive as locals and fans from across the region gathered for Rox Anne’s (Roxanne Dubé) long-awaited hometown show — and what a night it was!

The energy, the connection, the sheer joy in the room made it a concert experience to remember. Here’s hoping she makes it a yearly tradition. Rox Anne now lives in the Ottawa Valley, but her hometown of Smooth Rock Falls is still near and dear to her heart.

Rox Anne’s return to her roots was a mini tour, having her also performing at Full Beard Brewing in Timmins the night before her hometown show to a very appreciative crowd. Rox Anne stated on her social media feeds, “Oh Timmins!!! You did not disappoint!”
