1GAITHERSBURG, Md. — A 17-year-old male from Silver Spring has been charged after police say he made two bomb threats to Rockville Internal Medicine last Thursday, prompting a full-scale evacuation and emergency response.

Authorities said the calls were made minutes apart, around 9:40 a.m. and 9:42 a.m., to the medical office located in the 1200 block of Seven Locks Road.

The threats led to an immediate evacuation as multiple police and fire agencies responded to ensure the safety of staff, patients, and nearby residents.
