Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said that President Trump seeking another term in the White House is “very unlikely, but don’t ever close the book on” the president.
“Senator, is it constitutional for President Trump to run for a third term? He's teasing that,” a reporter asked Tuberville in a clip posted to the social platform X Tuesday.
“You know, if you read the Constitution, it says it's not, but if he says he has some, some different circumstances that might be able to go around the Constitution, but that’s up to him. We got a long way to go before that happens,” Tuberville responded.
“But you’re open to it?” the reporter replied.
