ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) - The Roanoke Police Department arrested a couple of teen boys accused of committing multiple commercial robberies throughout Roanoke on Thursday, October 23, 2025.
The teenagers, ages 16 and 17-years old, were found squatting in an old railroad car and were arrested, according to RPD.
The investigation began on Sunday, October 19, when a robbery was reported in the 700 block of Brandon Ave. SW. Tips from the community along with the help of photos of the suspect being shared on Facebook and the media led to the arrest.
The 16-year-old boy was charged in connection to robberies committed on October 19 on Brandon Ave. and a business robbery in the 2000 block of Colonial Ave. SW on Wednesday, October 22.
The 17-year-old boy is charged with two gas station robberies. O
