A Tulsa gym is preparing for one of its biggest nights of the year, bringing inspiration and opportunity to hundreds of young athletes.

A Mission To Lift Kids Up

Aim High Academy, founded 18 years ago by Jennifer Patterson Bjornberg, was created to make gymnastics accessible to every child, regardless of background or income.

“I have a background in the sport of gymnastics and knew early on all the life lessons it has to teach,” Bjornberg said. “We started off in North Tulsa and saw a need there for the sport. Since then, we’ve just grown, but we want our programs to be available to any child in the Tulsa community.”

The nonprofit raises money each year to fund scholarships, helping families cover the cost of classes and competition.
