JAMAICA HILLS, Queens (PIX11) -- Two men disguised as construction workers and a getaway driver allegedly stole jewelry worth approximately $3.2 million from a Queens home, police said Tuesday.
The suspects are accused of breaking into the home near 160th Street and 84th Drive through the rear door at around 2:20 p.m. on Oct. 16, according to the NYPD. No one was home at the time of the incident.
The men then allegedly took a safe with the jewelry valued at $3.2 million before taking off in a blue Hyundai Elantra, cops said.
The NYPD released a surveillance video showing two people dressed as construction workers walking to the home while their accomplice backs the car up into the driveway. The footage then showed all three leaving the scene.
