Mainpuri (Uttar Pradesh) [India], October 29 (ANI): A day after the poll body announced it would conduct the second phase of Special Intensive Revision across 12 States and Union Territories, Samajwadi Party MP Dimple Yadav said on Tuesday that the Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls can't be "stopped" and it is the responsibility of party organisation to ensure the name of voters remain present in the SIR after due inspection and scrutiny.

The SP MP noted that the revision of electoral rolls was implemented in Bihar during the assembly elections. Polling for 243 constituencies will take place on November 6 and 11, with voting to be held on November 14.
