As we lurch towards the end of October, the Emporia Lady Spartans volleyball team has concluded its season. In a season that saw a lot of ups and downs, the team ended up with a record of 21-15. Over the past weekend, they would play at Sub-State, but would only play one match against Andover Central.

Coming into the game, the Lady Spartans were on a three-game win streak and looked to continue their strong play at Sub-State. They would match up against a good Andover Central, who were 26-10 coming into this Sub-State matchup. The game would be a back-and-forth affair that would be competitive for all three sets.
