Sarnia’s Celebration of Lights is looking for about 20 volunteers, along with several trucks and long trailers, Saturday to help move displays out of storage and into Centennial Park for this year’s holiday event.

Trailers should be at least 4.2 metres (14 feet) long “because some of our display parts are too long to fit in a standard truck,” said Dean Holtz with the Celebration of Lights.

The community-run event fills a section of the waterfront park with holiday displays, which light up in the evenings each year during the weeks running up to Christmas and New Year’s.

Volunteers are being asked to meet Saturday at 9 a.m. behind Sandrin Services, 150 Exmouth St. About 45 displays will be taken out of storage and moved into place in the nearby park, ready to be assembled and raised duri
