Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco is considered week-to-week with an MCL sprain, NFL Network reported on Tuesday.
Pacheco sustained the injury during the fourth quarter of Kansas City’s 28-7 victory over the Washington Commanders on Monday. He received a hard hit to his right knee on his final carry and limped off the field.
Pacheco, 26, has rushed for 329 yards with one touchdown in eight games this season. He also has 11 catches for 43 yards and a score.
Pacheco was limited to seven games last season after he fractured the fibula in his right leg in a Week 2 meeting with the Cincinnati Bengals.
With Pacheco sidelined this time, Kareem Hunt, Elijah Mitchell and Brashard Smith likely will see their respective workloads receive a bit of an uptick.
