THRISSUR: Police Chief Ravada Chandrasekhar said that new members of the police force must understand and adapt to the changes in technology. He noted that police officers now have to deal with issues ranging from cybercrime to cryptocurrency, and therefore, must constantly update their knowledge. He was speaking after receiving the salute at the combined passing-out parade held at the Thrissur Police Academy.

A total of 227 constables from the Fifth Armed Battalion and 187 women constables who completed their training at the Police Academy participated in the joint passing-out parade held yesterday.
