Tulsa Public Schools is taking the next step in offloading several unused district-owned properties. After a board vote Monday night, the district will officially surplus and sell nine sites no longer serving as public school campuses.

The list includes former school buildings such as Bell Primary as well as a Vacant Lot Adjacent to Bell Primary, Eastside Academy, Wright, Woods, Mark Twain, Greeley, Cherokee and Roosevelt.

Why these properties are being sold

District officials say the properties are no longer needed and will not be used in the future. Some have sat vacant for years, while others are currently leased to charter schools.
