FARGO — The Dakota Marker game behind, North Dakota State won’t leave the state for the rest of the regular season starting Saturday with a home game against Youngstown State. The stakes keep getting higher.
For one, the Bison retained their No. 1 ranking in the FCS top 25 polls and presumably the same spot with the FCS Championship Committee, which seeds the 24-team playoff field.
“You’ll remember November so we’re here now guys,” said head coach Tim Polasek.
He ripped off the goals: be the most physical team in the country, eliminate distractions and win the home-field advantage for the playoffs.
“Every game now is championship-level intensity as far as we’re concerned,” Polasek said. “I look forward to these guys playing, last night was a good Monday.”
