HARRISBURG — Republican lawmakers from Pennsylvania and three bordering states gathered in Harrisburg on Tuesday and railed against green energy policies while favoring fossil fuels to strengthen electric generation, but a representative of their shared power grid took an agnostic approach on energy sources.
"Hopefully, we can bring on all resources. And I do want to say, at this point in time, PJM needs all resources. We need wind, we need solar, we need nuclear … we need coal, we need natural gas,” said Stephen Bennett, senior manager, regulatory and legislative affairs, PJM Interconnection.
