Provincial police in Grenville County have laid a slew of charges against a man who reportedly crashed his vehicle on Highway 416 on Monday.
At about 9 p.m., officers responded to a crash in the southbound lanes of the 416 near the Rideau River.

Police say a pickup truck collided with a parked construction site “crash truck,” or mobile barrier.
As part of the investigation, Highway 416 was partially closed for a period of time and North Grenville firefighters and Leeds and Grenville paramedics were also called to the scene.
Police say the driver of the pickup was transported to hospital as a precaution and the paramedics also checked on the operator of the crash truck, but no serious injuries were reported.
