Lochlin Reidy was plucked out of the TSA line by a Tweed New Haven Airport employee.
“She said, come-on, you’re the four millionth [passenger],” Reidy said with a laugh after he was showered with applause, a complimentary local hotel stay, and a New Haven pizza hat.

Reidy, a regular flier to NHV to visit his daughter in Fairfield, said he keeps returning for the convenience.
“It’s easier for me to get in and out of here than it is Hartford,” he said.
Reidy is an example of what some four million passengers since 2020 may have experienced, a meteoric rise for an airport that saw just shy of 31,000 passengers per year a decade ago.
