INDEPENDENCE, Mo. (KCTV) - After months of “extensive investigation,” the Kansas City Police Department has provided the latest information on a Raytown teen’s death investigation.
Isaiah Wilson, 15, was shot and killed on Sept. 2, 2025, just two days before his sixteenth birthday. He was a student of Raytown Quality Schools.
KCPD initially believed Wilson was shot while walking near James A. Reed Park in Kansas City and called friends to take him to St. Luke’s Hospital for help, where he later died.
