KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Dozens of alleged murderers, child predators and other criminals were arrested during a law enforcement sweep of Kansas City.
The Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department says that nearly 80 individuals were arrested during a citywide operation during the week of Oct. 20.

Investigators noted that the total includes 5 homicides and 15 child predators. All of which have been charged as of Tuesday, Oct. 28.
Meanwhile, law enforcement officials noted that nearly 100 warrants were cleared and nearly 70 new charges have been issued.
KCPD said it also seized illicit drugs and cash during the operation. Members of the multiple divisions and agencies were involved.
