LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - The Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office has announced the sentencing of two juveniles in connection to a homicide case.
Officials said one juvenile pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 23 years for murder (complicity), 15 years for attempted murder, 20 years for robbery (complicity), five years for tampering with evidence, and 12 months for possession of a handgun by a minor. All sentences will run concurrently for a total of 23 years in prison.
According to officials, as part of a plea deal, the defendant agreed to serve the sentence without any motions for probation or shock probation. He must serve 85% of his sentence before he is eligible for parole.
