Massachusetts, 24 other states and the District of Columbia today sued the Department of Agriculture and the regime's budget-slashing Darth Vader to block the regime's plan to cut off SNAP benefits on Nov. 1 despite having at least $6 billion in an emergency fund to keep money flowing into the accounts of people who have trouble paying for food even during a Republican shutdown of the government.

In the suit, filed in US District Court in Boston, the states are seeking a temporary restraining order to keep the funds flowing into recipient EBT accounts even as the suit progresses, charging the cutoff will cause "irreparable harm" to the states themselves and is "arbitrary and capricious," and so a violation of the federal Administrative Procedures Act, even aside what it does to senior cit
