A Pisgah man is dead after a two-vehicle crash Monday evening in Jackson County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

ALEA says 60-year-old Timothy A. Bradford was fatally injured when the 2006 Buick LaCrosse he was driving collided head-on with a 2017 Ram 1500.

After the initial impact, the Buick left the roadway and overturned into a ditch.

ALEA says Bradford was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The two people in the Ram were both injured and transported to DeKalb Regional Medical Center in Fort Payne for treatment.

The crash occurred about 5:05 p.m. on Alabama 40 near Jackson County 418, approximately two miles north of Dutton.
