There’s now a new way for families from Western Alaska to receive their mail while they’re away from home.
The U.S. Postal Service has set up a temporary mail center on the second floor of the Egan Center in downtown Anchorage.
Displaced residents can stop by to fill out a temporary change-of-address form and have their mail redirected.
Mail pick-up is available daily from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Egan Center.
